We aim to balance a recruitment process together with our commitment to safeguarding our learners.

The first stage of applying for a vacancy is to complete the online application form associated with your chosen vacancy. The application form will ask you to outline how your skills, knowledge and experience are applicable and why you are interested in the role.

You will receive an automated acknowledgement email to confirm receipt of your application. Although we ask for you to supply your references, these will not be contacted until after acceptance of the verbal offer.

It is important to fully complete your application; this is used to shortlist for interview.

All vacancies will have a closing date. Applications are shortlisted on a rolling basis and we reserve the right to interview and appoint before any advertised closing date. Once we close an advert you will be unable to complete your application form. We therefore encourage you to apply at the earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment.

If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted regarding the details of the interview and anything that you may need to prepare in advance.

Please note; Online searches may be carried out as part of our recruitment checks to meet our safeguarding requirements.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide feedback on applications that have not been shortlisted.

The interview can take place either in person at one of our locations or virtually through Microsoft Teams.

All interviews adhere to safer recruitment practices, which involve discussing any gaps in your employment history.

At the conclusion of the interview, you will have opportunity to ask questions about the organisation and the role so consider preparing questions in advance.

Following the interview, the hiring manager will reach out to the chosen candidate with a verbal job offer. Upon verbal acceptance, you will then be sent an official offer in a formal document and prompted to confirm your acceptance electronically. This formal acceptance marks the commencement of your onboarding process.

In the event that you are not selected for the position, we will promptly notify you post-interview and, if desired, offer constructive feedback upon request. Our aim is to keep you informed throughout the process, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.

If you accept an offer of employment with us, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks; these checks are in line with the Keeping Children Safe in Education statutory guidance.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Obtaining satisfactory references is an essential part of our recruitment process and so we will also need to take up reference checks, one of which should be your current or most recent employer.

All successful applicants who have lived or travelled overseas for three months or more in the past five years may require further checks deemed appropriate so that any relevant events that occurred outside the UK can be considered.

Email confirmations are sent for interviews. In advance you will be advised of the details of the interview including who you will be meeting, the designated contact person upon arrival and who you can expect as part of the interview panel.
